Kayla Canne is a reporter in Attleboro, Massachusetts currently exploring the wonders of both photo and print journalism as the North Attleboro correspondent for The Sun Chronicle. An avid writer from a young age, Kayla has enjoyed writing for and interning at a variety of publications including The Daily Free Press, Sensible Reason, Boston Magazine and Universal Hub while a student at Boston University, Class of 2016. Kayla found a passion in international issues after traveling to Ethiopia, where she was inspired by the challenge to capture a society and culture so different from her own through mere words and photographs. She continued this international journey through an internship with Alt Media in Sydney, Australia, and her travels to Thailand, New Zealand and Haiti. Though she geeks out more than your average reporter at the thought of anecdotes from town meetings and down-to-earth local features, in her wildest dreams, Kayla would continue with a career in international journalism, traveling the world and reporting all she sees.
